Project Engineer

Alliance Consulting Engineers, Inc. is a professional civil engineering firm providing technical consulting services to County Governments, Municipalities, Developers, Industry, School Districts, Healthcare Providers, Architects and other private entities. Located in Downtown Columbia, South Carolina, we are looking for motivated individuals wanting to join a progressive, rapidly growing firm. We are seeking Project Engineers with 4+ years experience. Applicants should be registered Professional Engineers or able to earn such certification within 6 months. Knowledge of the design, permitting, and the construction process necessary. Experience with a civil consulting firm preferred. Working knowledge AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Excel necessary. Experience with Civil Design and Land Development software a plus. The applicant should possess good communication skills to work with co-workers and relate to clients, very good organizational skills, and be able to take responsibility with minimal supervision. Responsibilities will include site design for commercial, residential, and industrial developments, industrial park design, storm drainage system design, water and wastewater systems design, roadway design, landfill design, and water and wastewater system studies. Responsibilities will also include coordination of permitting to various regulatory agencies, administration of bidding and award of projects, and construction administration and observation.
