COLUMBIA, SC — July 1, 2015 — Alliance Consulting Engineers, Inc., a civil and environmental engineering firm, is pleased to announce the addition of its newest team member, Janet Hurley Cann, P.E.
Cann joins Alliance Consulting Engineers, Inc. as a Senior Project Manager in the firm’s Upstate Office in Greenville, South Carolina. Previously employed by the Spartanburg Sanitary Sewer District, Janet brings over 30 years of expertise in wastewater collection system expansion, pump station and treatment plant construction and upgrades and collection system hydraulic model development.

With a distinguished career in wastewater management, Janet has maintained leadership positions in both state and national wastewater organizations, currently serving at the national level as the Water Environment Federation’s Director of Practice for the Treatment Community and previously as Speaker of the Water Environment Federation House of Delegates. Among many other roles, she served as both Secretary and President of the Water Environment Association of South Carolina. Janet is also a member of the Federation’s 5S Society and recipient of the Arthur Sidney Bedell award and, most recently, the Golden Manhole award.
